It depends on the subject. In Spanish for objects there is no "it" they are either masculine or feminine. You have to know what are you talking about. example: a "book" is masculine a "flower" is feminine

The rule is:
masculine - blanco
feminine - blanca

The word 'white' translates to 'blanco' in Spanish ... but the 'spelling' may be different in Spain than it is in Mexico so GET A GOOD SPANISH/ENGLISH dictionary for the 'proper country' and LOOK IT UP!
