With all registry you have to watch out. It doesn't even matter if there AKC registered it's all for money and to say my dog is registered. I have a dog who is registered with the AKC she is seven years old now and was very sick all the time. I also have a dog who is registered with the ACA and has been very healthy he is two years old. It depends on the breeder for a healthy pup, not what it is registered through. Also I personally have had no problems with the ACA. Hope this helps!

Beware of posing companies. I am a dog breeder of Jack Russell Terriers and in my 18 years of experience I have never heard of them.

I dont think it is one hundred percent. I saw a news story on TV once of a reporter that registered 6 kittens as 6 pure breed dogs with the AKC. she had papers for it and everything. I think it would be pretty easy to fake.

It's a puppymill registry. They'll register pet rocks and stuffed animals if you send them money.

Well I havent heard about them bein a puppy mill place or anything like that but that dontmean it aint I guess. I recently got a dog and the papers that came with her from ACA, but since Ihave no plans of breeding her or anything like that I really wasnt to worried about who she was registered with. She is simply my pet. But I had never heard of them before I got my dog.

As far as I know, it's a spurious registry used by puppymills so they can claim their pups have "papers".
