It is a "waste of energy" for water bottles to be made, filled with water, and then transported (water is heavy).

And are they avoiding eating vegetables grown in foreign countries? It is a "waste of energy" to transport food from other countries.

Also, have global warming theorists stopped hiring people to do their housework? It is a "waste of energy" for someone to drive to their homes to mow their lawns or clean their bathrooms. That is especially true, if the worker is an undocumented worker since undocumented workers are creating millions of new families in the U.S.. A family living in the U.S. uses over 100 times more energy than a family living in rural Mesxico.

Rural people in Mesxico (where most undocumented workers com from) don't use cars or a lot of electrical products. Also, most people there don't have toliets. They just keep digging new deep holes in the ground to use as toliets. (Source: 1st hand knowledge)

Bottled water IS a waste of energy and adds tons of plastic bottles to landfills. In the US, the regulations for munipal tap water is MORE stringent than bottled water; 25% of which is nothing more than tap water itself. What's more, the plastic bottles it's packaged in leaches toxic contaminates into the water. If you want to be health conscious about your water consumption, invest in a home purification system and reuse alloy bottles from manufacturers like Sigg.
We (U.S.A.) rely very little on the importation of fruits and vegetables from other countries.
Are you actually sitting outside of the homes of 'theorists' to see if they have Mighty Maids coming to their houses? I think the ratio of a mexican family using 100 times less energy than an American family is a bit of a stretch.
Next time, do some research before spoutting off about something you know next to nothing about....

First off, I find it funny that you refer to them as global warming "theorists," as if global warming is just some idea that some random person came up with. Second, are you saying that global warming doesn't exist? Do you really believe that all the pollutants we (referring to human beings) are putting in the air and all the energy and natural resources we are using up isn't having any effect on the world? You should have thought a little more about the wording in your question before posting it. Go do some research. Bottled water isn't exactly at the top of the list of environmental concerns. Go visit Myrtle Beach and see how much higher the tides and ocean levels have gotten in the last few years and you try telling me that global warming is just a theory.

Well this isn't an answerable question, except to speak for myself as a "global warming theorist", by which I assume you mean a person who accepts the scientific evidence and consensus that humans are the primary cause of the current global warming.

I've got my own refillable water bottle. I buy whatever vegetables the supermarket has, unless I go to a farmer's market. I've never hired anyone to do my housework. Good enough for you?

All I can say to this is that I'm certainly not giving up my bottled water in exchange for what comes out of the tap!If this promotes this so called "global warming" then so be it!I'd rather have a climate that changes by one degree every thousand years than the creeping crud that comes from water out of the faucet.

No, because it affects them, personally. Global warming alarmist, only want YOU to change, it's your fault, as is most things that left coast liberals get all worked up with.

Would it be fair to say you agree we shouldn't kill children on the streets?

If so than I have to assume you've never driven a vehicle in your life and have no intention of ever doing so.

If you have ever driven a vehicle then do you agree that a) you're a hypocrite or b) your question is pointless.
