i'm 17, my dad has 2 jobs, my mom stays at home. she blames everything on my dad even when he doesn't do anything- when it's someone else, it's my dad's fault. she's done a lot of things... i don't know what to do. should i talk to her (although i know she'll just blame it on my dad because it's always his fault)..? i don't know what to do.... can i do anything??

It sounds like your mom might not have anything to do? (Not being rude.) Perhaps if you spend time with her. Go out to lunch, encourage a hobby of hers, take a walk together, cook dinner together. If her life starts to improve maybe she won't focus on blaming your dad.

Also if your dad, cause he is so busy working, spends more time with her...quality time, she might relax. Sounds like she might be lonely, bored and feel unappreciated.

Hate to say it but it sounds like you are in a no win situation, so what are the best alternatives? Yes talk to your mom but without questions such as why are you treating my dad this way. Start off with hey mom what is going on you seem really angry lately and I miss the old mom. Is there anything I can do, come on lets have a heart to heart. I am worried about both you and dad his working so much and your feelings, is there anything I can do to help. It can possibly be due to hormones or stress, maybe a visit to the doctor would help. The key is to connect, not be judgemental, communicate, and then help.

try talking to her, if she blames it on your dad or you and it gets worse, maybe try talking to a counselor, or call a youth help line. that may be the best you can do is to have them talk it out, but it's their choice, it'll be hard to tell them what to do.

Talk to her would be the best way tell her what you feel and what you think. tell her that sometimes her action aren't right and sometimes unfair talk to her ans see what she says.
