The best way to loose weight and keep it off is to do about 30 minutes of cardio 3 times a weeke and LIFT weights 3 times a week.. once you start building muscle your BMI ( Basic Metabolic Rate) will automatically improve ! Fat burns muscle. and don't worry you will not get bulky you will only tone up and burn more calories naturally throughout the day:) YOu will be sooo happy with the results once you start! A balance Diet ( as a lifestyle is so important) and the best part is once you start eating healthy food not only can you eat more but you can eat more often( healthy food not junk food)
I reccoment about 5-6 small well balance meals through out the day:) Good luck:)

Do like I did, with your doctor's permission, go on the Atkin's Diet. You will lose weight safely in a reasonable time frame & will keep it off IF you are determined to be successful. I am never hungry & lost 130 lbs in just under a year & have kept it off. I want to lose more & my doctor agrees that I should, so I am eating healthy, drinking lots of water daily, which is so vital when losing weight, & exercising daily, with the exception of one day. That's on Sunday & I deserve a day off. If your doctor agrees that the Atkin's Diet is for you, then buy the paperback book called "The Atkin's Diet Revolution" & only read up to & including Phase # 2. (there are four phases) Read & re read the book until you understand the diet & how it works for you & your body. I walk three to four miles six days a week, as it's the most natural form of exercise. It's easy on the joints, unlike jogging. My average weight loss per week was three pounds & I noticed a difference within a week. All the best if you decide to take this route. :)

I lost 100 lbs 12 years ago and I have kept almost every lb off. I reduced my portions and started walking in my neighborhood 3-4 times a week. I NEVER gave up any foods, I just ate less of them. If I had a craving for a candy bar, I'd buy one, eat half and throw the rest away. If you restrict yourself from certain foods, you will eventually give in and eat them in huge quantities. I started with small walks and eventually built up to 2-3 miles a day of very brisk walking. This is truly the only way to lose weight and keep it off. Portions and exercise. If you can't do it on your own, Weight Watchers is an excellent support group and basically offers the same advice but has the accountability built in. Good luck to you.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

Changing your lifestyle. Diet modification and lots of hardcore cardio and some weights. Weight loss is all about intake vs. expenditure. The less you eat and more you exercise=weight loss!
It's easy to lose the weight, what's hard is keeping it off and maintaining.

It's considering that you free it too quick. Try to slowly free weight, devour 1200 energy, burn 500 daily. By both swimming for an hour (breaststroke) or running for a million - two hours. Or rope leaping for round a million hour. And drink eight glasses of water daily. Best wants/Miranda

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Reducing your caloric intake if it's excessive and exercising on a regular basis. Make sure your intake is less than your output.
