Merda fit.

Merda is the best word here - came into Spanish almost unchanged.

Fit = 3rd person of Verb fio, fieri, meaning: happen, come about; result (from); take place.

Don't know if the Romans had such a saying, but if they did, that's a good shot at what it would be.

Slang cannot be translated from one language to another directly. Since Latin is dead and is not used in any country it would be difficult to find slang with the same meaning.

It would have to be a translation of "bad things happen to good people".
