to wefmeister:
Please tell me what "normal christian living" is. Tell me as though i am not a christian. Many non-believers think that we are just about religion and church and not having fun. Please tell them what you mean by your statement. Thank you so much for participating.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

It means to live with a "God consciousness". That is, remember this next passage and make your decisions about what you are going to do or say with this in mind.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Fortunately we can get the help we need from our Father through the Holy Spirit so that we can make the choices that honor our Lord Jesus..

Hebrews 4:14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
