Please feel free to talk about your faith. I'm a christian and I definetly believe in God. I am a Methodist. You can share your type of religion here if you would like to also. It's okay if you don't want to. I understand completely.

I was raised Methodist and now I'm non denominational called, "Christian church".

I had prayed as a child for my father to live until I had my first child. I was surprised to be pregnant at age 35. When I was 8 months along my father told me his blood test was not good. At that moment I felt goose bumps all over my body, I remembered my prayer to God and I heard a voice, in my head say, "It is now time".

My dad died 4 months after my daughter was born. True story. That got me searching for God. I found him.

Yes I believe in One God. Who is the Creator and origin of all that exists. Islam is my way of life and Muslims are those who sumbit themselves to the will of God, which is the meaning of Islam. Allah is the Lord of the worlds, the One who created and cherishes this universe and everything in. He is the same God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and all other Prophets. Muslims follow Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in all their actions. A muslim cannot be a Muslim only by having Arabic names. He must have the qualities as said in the Holy Quran. He must be obeying Allah and His messenger, He is to be trustworthy, He is to be honest, He is to be kind. Real ones are those having qualities prescribed in the Holy Quran and are mostly humble and kind to others. Fake ones are those walk in its names but donot follow its true message. The Gospel of unity and peace.

I found God after I lost everything but my children. I lost my house, my job, my fiance, everything. I feel it was Gods way of telling me it was time to close that chapter in my book and move on.
