Simple. Muscle weighs more than fat, so you probably got leaner but weigh a little more.

Not sure, but I am truely blown away by the idiotic comments everyone above me as said "muscle weighs more than fat, therefore you have gained muscle."
That is so by far erroneous it makes me sick. If takes a lot of calories, protein, and intense weight lifting to add muscle mass as and AT MOST IT IS 1-2 POUNDS A MONTH. Got that prior posters. Maybe you ingested lots of water and thus it is water weight. You're probably just growing...nothing to worry about.

You're toning muscle and building it too. Muscle is denser than fat so has more weight to an inch than fat does. You may see changes on the scale later but due to the exercise, you're seeing changes in size first. Good job! Congrats.

Nothing is "wrong". You are healthier and in better shape and have more muscle than you did when you started out. That's all. Good job.
That's what diet and exercise are all about. Not obsessing about some idiotic number on a scale.

You've probably gained a lot of muscle mass, which weights MORE than fat. The reason why you look thinner is that you've lost fat.
