I just got this chrome plated western style revolver as a gift. It was made in the late 60's or early 70's. It has not been fired very much and has been taken care of. It was sold under the name of Liberty Firearms in California. Any information would be helpfull. Thanks

ROHM

Previous firearms manufacturer located in Sontheim an der Brenz, Germany. Limited importation into the U.S. Röhm still manufactures gas alarm pistols, mostly for European sales.
Röhm produced inexpensive revolvers for the U.S. marketplace during the late 1960s-1970s. Most of these guns were built as sub-contracts for U.S. companies and/or distributors (i.e., Hy-Score, a previous distributor located in Brooklyn, NY). Some of the models included are RG-7 through RG-88 (21 variations), Romo, Thalco, Valor, Vestpocket, Western Style, Zephyr, and others. Röhm also manufactured a few semi-auto pistols (RG-25 and RG-26) at approx. the same time. Currently, these guns are seen priced in the $35-$125 range, as the shooting value determines the price tag, not collector interest.

The answer to your question would be no more than $150.00.

Good Luck & Happy Shooting !!!!!!

**Doc,

Regional differences dont cause the price to boom a $100.00. Blue Book says the firearms sell today from $35.00 - $125.00, hinse the reason I said it can not be worth more than $150.00.

Some useful info for you, when we are speaking of regional differences, even with new firearms the margin will be no more than $20.00. Anything more than that is the seller attempting to ripoff the buyer.

Actually the West is trying it's best to bully the entire world to its norms & values which as a matter of fact is not a correct approach. It is not just women issues, it's also about media, it's also about family values, it's about so many other things. West has promoted nudity on media and has made a fool out of their woman folk. However, I do not count Europeans as Westerns! Now in order to do away with their guilt they want us to join the bandwaggen.

I don't agree with MRS's valuation. I think he is pricing it too high, but that could be due to regional price differences.

Those things sold new for around $60.00, and most folks considered them to be overpriced.

I seriously doubt if you could get over $100.00 for it, but I'd sure ask for $150.00 and take what I could get.
