Why do Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they are the only ones preaching Gods gospel?

Well, I guess I'll have to say it once again. Not all those saying Lord Lord will enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Jesus's own word spoken here..... Is everyone listening!? Even though they have done powerful works in his name.... many will be denied! Why? They practice the teachings of men and demons.

Has anybody calculated how many trees had to be cut down in order to print that out?

That is the Watchtower's idea of what "real religion" is about but it certainly isn't God's idea because God isn't interested in man's idea of religion. He calls us to be in a right Relationship with Him and we can only do that when we are brought to repentance.

Extremist denominations or sects always take that point of view. Nor is this unique to Christianity; look at the Lubavitchers,or even just Orthodox Jews in general. Radical Islamists. I'm sure you'll it anywhere. Even outside of religion,look at politics. The more extreme the view,the more close-minded,the more certain they are correct. Just human nature,I guess. It certainly isnt just the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jehovah's Witnesses freely speak to others about God's purpose concerning the mankind. They are the only ones who go from door to door in an organized way following Jesus' and his disciples' example spreading "the good news".

"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." -- Matthew 24:14

Here is an extract from a worldwide message they distributed in October/November 2006. The leaflet is entitled "The end of false religion is near!"

"What is false religion? Are you distressed about crimes committed in the name of religion? Do the warfare, terrorism, and corruption perpetrated by those who claim to serve God offend your sense of justice? Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?

The fault lies, not with all religion, but with FALSE religion. A widely respected religious figure, Jesus Christ, indicated that false religion produces bad works, just as a "rotten tree produces worthless fruit." (Matthew 7: 15-17) What fruit does false religion yield?

Meddles in war and politics

How will false religion end?..... Then comes a gory pictoral and literary description of how false religion, the harolt in Revelation, will be destroyed by the beast with seven heads and ten horns (the world's political powers).

Now, the point you need to understand is that they are saying EVERY religion on the face of the planet, except theirs, is branded as a harlot and will be destroyed by the world's political powers.

Those are the words from the Governing Body who rule over Jehovah's Witnesses. No-one else comes up to the mark, according to them. Everyone who believes in any doctrine contrary to theirs (Christian doctrines such as the trinity, the immortality of the soul, hell, having a heavenly hope, etc., etc.) is part of false religion. Only they preach God's gospel, allegedly.

They are false prophets. They do not believe Jesus is God in the flesh. They believe they are the only ones who know the truth. They believe Jesus is Michael the angel. This is not true. Jesus is my Lord and my God (see John 20:28)

If they don't believe what others are teaching to be the truth, you can assume they think they are the only ones preaching what is true.

Better q is why do they not allow themselves to "be sure of all things" and "examine their religion" and look at things from "apostates" yet everyone they witness to is expected to listen to them, and be sure of all things and examine their non JW religion and look at their JW stuff which could very well be considered apostate material to the person!
