Take him to a vets, an opinion can only be given if the problem can be seen

. I just had a talk on dog dentition actually - many people seem to think over/undershot jaws aren't a problem but depending on the severity and the precise positioning of the teeth, it certainly can cause problems. Pain, difficulty eating and even infection are all potential troubles.

There are ways to fix this - if not surgery to correct the jaw (not common, not usually necessary) then extraction of teeth that are going to cause a problem in the future is a good option. It's best done when young, and although most people wait until neutering to get both things sorted at the same time, it's actually best caught as soon as possible, before the adult teeth come in.

See what your vet thinks. He may need to refer you to a dental specialist for a second opinion - don't just accept a glance and a 'it's fine' - the true consequences of these kinds of problem are only becoming well known quite recently and are therefore often underestimated.

For some dog breeds this is completely normal. If he is eating normally and doesn't seemed to be bothered by it i wouldn't worry about it.
