Yes....I've had many dreams that involved loved ones who have passed away....most notably once I dreamt of someone that I was not even close to and would have no reason to dream about. The last time I even saw or had contact with this person was in the mid to late 70's, but yet I dreamt about him this year, 2007 for some unexplainable reason.
I don't think you really need any tips...just keep an open mind and listen with your heart and soul. A book I recommend is Hello From Heaven by Bill Guggenheim and Judy Guggenheim. It's about after death communication we see every day. Good luck and know they are with you when need be.

I made contact with the spirit realm when I was supernaturally transformed by the Holy Spirit of God through the new birth over 36 years ago.
