Personally, I think everyone is too quick to jump on the "OMG WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE" bandwagon.

I saw an extrapolation of global changes and Canada becomes quite the Bread Basket. Same extrapolation, though, showed a ring of radioactive nuclear clouds that perpetually circle the Earth at that latitude secondary to several hypothetical meltdowns in other parts of the world secondary to disintegration of civilizations secondary to global biospheric changes. Everything everywhere is connected.

I'm glad you are able to take such a serious problem so lightly. (that was sarcasm)
Due to global warming, polar bears will be extinct in the next 50 years. Global warming is killing them due to lack of ice to hunt the seals they need to survive. When a polar bear is undernourished, they do not have cubs. Older ones die or drown as they try and hunt their food. They come closer to towns like Churchill and then are shot as they try and do what nature wants them to do...eat to survive. People want them to stay away for safety reasons, but people are also causing the problem that brought them closer to towns in the first place.
Farmers right now have it very hard economically. To try and change the way you farm or what you farm isn't as simple as going from growing wheat to an orange. Equipment is expensive. Each tractor is worth more than many houses are worth. Global warming isn't overnight...so you have more and more farmers giving up; forcing fewer and fewer farmers to adapt and try and provide for millions of people to eat. You think bread and milk is expensive now? Wait until the economics of supply and demand hit. You think gas is expensive now....
All around the world the edges of countries will be affected bu the polar ice caps melting. Sure...its slow...but even those "small" changes have been part of the dramatic weather changes we see every year...killing people and animals.
And those are just SOME of the effects of global warming
You like global warming? Think again. That "freshly squeezed Canadian orange juice" should choke you for thinking that. Stop being so selfish and think about the bigger picture. Do some reading while you are online. Go see David Suzuki speak one day.
Above all...grow up!!!

I take it you don't live in my area of Canada. Big wind and rain storms knocked out power and shut highways through November, flooding and mudslides are shutting highways now.
Global warming means more extreme weather. One ice storm is going to wipe out your whole Orange grove for 10 years.

I'm glad you think it is so awesome. I hope you can hold onto that feeling when you contract malaria or yellow fever from tropical mosquitos.

Yeah, it sounds nice -- if you're ten, and still forget how hot and humid it gets here every summer _already_.
