Recently I've been going to the loo all the time, and drinking too. I'm tired and I can't concentrate at school. I thought to start with I was just being silly, but it's been going on for a few weeks now and I am worried that something is wrong with me.

Please help.

Cari

Hiya,

Needing to drink a lot and go to the bathroom a lot can be a sign of diabetes. Concentration can be affected with this.

Cant possibly say tht is it as dont know you. Find someone can confide in and go to see your GP who will do a blood test for glucose levels.

See a GP hun

Good luck x x

If this has been going on for a few weeks then you should get proper medical advice just in case. The weather has been quite warm so you may be just drinking more but also it could be a medical problem that needs to be sorted out. If you can't get to a doctor then contact NHS direct. You can either go onto the website or phone 0845 4647. It may be nothing but you don't want to take any chances with your health!

Firstly, I would say try not to worry. Nine times out of 10, it is worry that makes us notice things more. Could it be that you are not getting enough sleep? That can affect concentration hugely. Also, could it be the hot weather that is making you drink more? If I were you, I would try and get more rest and if you are still worried, then maybe see your GP or speak to a family member who you can trust. Best of luck though sweetie!

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and it sounds like you may have the early symptoms of diabetes, you MUST go and see a Dr or take a diabetic test this condition can be fatal if left untreated. Or you may have a thyroid problem again you must get help

It sounds like Diabetes symptoms. The best thing is to go to a doctor that specializes in diabetes and have blood tests taken to be sure. The longer you wait, the more damage diabetes will do to your body.

My friend was like this last year and she has type 2 diabetes. Go to see your GP as soon as possible, and take a urine sample with you. I saves time if you anticipate what they will need. Good luck.

Carl, what you describe is simply to non-specific to know if anything at all is wrong with you, but as it seems to be a major change for you and has you worried, then you should see a doctor for a longer interview than is possible in this venue to determine if indeed anything IS wrong.

Those are symtoms of some illness's, the one I thought of right away is diabetes. If you have also lost some weight, I would go to a doctor ASAP to have your blood glucose checked.
