I'm being charged with 4 counts of criminal mischief over $1,000 and 1 count of trespassing on a construction site.My friend and I broke 55 school windows in one night. This was my 4th time coming back to break windows. For my friend this was the 2nd time. The damage of the last time is estimated at over 45,000.I'm in advanced classes, but I have a 2.0 average.I'm 14 years old and I'm in middle school.Well,I just finished and I'm going to high school. My parents are divorced.I've been to bootcamp and when I got caught breaking windows, that is my 1st time and only time being arrested.I was all over the news and newspaper.Anyways,I think most likely,I will be going to juvie and when I get I'll do a lot of community service. For high school,I'll be going to the strictest school in my county.I'll only be going there for a year,if I don't get in anymore trouble.I already have a lawyer. What do you think is going to happen to me.Will be in juvie a long time, let off easy, what? Honest answers, please

Sadly I think you will be sent to juvie for a long time since you were already sent to boot camp. Listen, I know that having your parents divorce really sucks and that it was probably really tough on you. I'm willing to put forth that you are probably still pissed about it and that part of the reason why you are breaking windows is because you are still angry (I'd probably be pretty pissed off too). I mean have you talked to your parents about this? Have you explained that you are still angry over the whole thing? It's better to talk about it rather than resorting to breaking stuff and it's a heck of a lot more productive as well. What gets me too is that you are in advanced classes. This means that you have some intelligence even in you are getting a 2.0 GPA and your post shows that you are smart for your age. Listen, I know that you can do better and I think you know that you can do better as well. If you have to go to juvie, ok then, but think about ways that you can better yourself while you are there and how you can turn yourself around. Try to figure out ways to get ahead and find something that challenges you whether academic or acting or whatever. Find something to pour your energy and your angst into and focus on that. Try to get out of the strictest school in your county by proving how smart you are and by behaving yourself. You know that you don't belong there and are too smart for it. You have a long road ahead of you and it's going to take awhile to prove to the world that you are more than a juvenile delinquent. I know that you are too smart to be labeled like that for the rest of your life. Turn yourself around and show the world who you really are and what you can become.

It seems like the really intelligent kids, the ones above average, in scholastics, are the ones that do stupid things, and not the middle of the road kid that has to fight to get,or do, what is considered easy for you. So is intelligence the same as stupidity.? There has to be some rage inside of you and thats why you do those things, look inside of you and see what it is. I also feel that you like the attention, you like telling people about it, like telling all these people in YA, that must really turn you on.
If you havent learned anything the other three times ,Then you will always be a F*** up no matter what yoyr grades are,
You are the only one that can change things for yourself
for the better, the question is, If you want to or not.
I dont think you do..And I hope your rage doesnt take you into different direction, like turning against people instead of objects..

I know what SHOULD happen to you: You should have to be made to work for the school at minimum wage until you pay back every cent of damage that you caused. The money that the school will have to use to replace those windows could be going to textbooks or computers for the other students that actually care about their futures and the future of the community. I would say that you need different friends, but it sounds like your current friends are the ones that need to find a different friend. And all this trouble at the age of fourteen. I can remember dealing with people your age as teens and then as adults after they turned eighteen. You'd better stop worrying about your current situation and start looking to change your ways. As an adult you'd be looking at up to five years in prison for your actions.

You'll be in there for a while, unless you have OJ Simpson's lawyer.
It's your 4th offense. If the prosecutors didn't know about the other 3, well, you just confessed to them on the Internet.
Stop vandalizing things. If for nothing else, then for the consequences of going to jail and paying for the damages you caused. Leave the windows alone. What have they done to you? You don't like your school? Then try to change it for the better. I find it hard to believe that you're in advanced classes and can logically decide that breaking windows is a good idea.

Well, first of all, you seem to be quite proud of yourself...I don't know why, with your history and records so far. You are just lucky that you have been caught before you got into more serious trouble. You sound somewhat like Paris Hilton...going full tilt in the wrong direction on a dead end street. Put on your big girl panties and take what ever punishment that is handed out to you...(I do hope that it is a good punishment and not just a wrap on the wrists. )
Learn something from your past mistakes, and make something of yourself. You say that you have brains and ability...prove it , do the right thing. good luck.

Well since you dont seem to be very sorry about what you did to others i think you will still have a very hard time until you decide to grow up. $45,000 is a huge amount of damage and you seem to be flaunting it like we should be proud of you or something. I think you think that because you are smart you can do what ever you want to -but real life says if you are smart you should know better!! Grow up!

I say you will get Juvie until age 18 or until your fees, fines and probationary time are all fulfilled.

It sounds to me like you need to grow up and become a responsible individual. Serve your time (you deserve it), then make a genuine effort to better your life. Even your YaHoo! name (mothertrucker) indicates that you have a wild streak, probably due to your parents' divorce and a lack of any real discipline. Somebody should have swatted some common sense into your head a long time ago. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. Grow up and become a responsible individual (oh, sorry - I already suggested that). -RKO- 06/10/07

Nothing said here is going to do you a whole bunch of good.

If you have legal representation, that's about all you can do outside of demonstrating remorse for what you did when you face the judge.

With your record, even this won't do you a whole lot of good.

Take your medicine. And don't do things like this again. Police records are no joke. And employers won't like seeing this fact when they look you up in the future.

you will be in juvenile until your 18 that's for sure . however i do not think it's the correct punishment . i think you should be required to replace every window , fined THOUSANDS of dollars , then taken to the middle of central park , and beaten like they do to people in Singapore ( cained) then after that spend 5000 hours in community service
