Today after church, i was thinking. Maybe God left somethings unanswered so that we could have faith. If everything was revealed to us why would we need faith. if you are in a relationship with someone, would you want to have to tell them everything you did, why you did it, and what what you were going to do next. You would want them to trust you. If you spent all of your time explaining, what time would be left to enjoy your relationship?

There is no question in my mind, yes he did.

As scripture states : "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him."

This is one of many texts that lend credibility to this idea.

The Bible tells us some things are hidden.

“Now concerning that day or hour no one knows—neither the angels in heaven nor the Son—except the Father.
Mark 13:32

I know that this man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— was caught up into paradise. He heard inexpressible words, which a man is not allowed to speak. I will boast about this person, but not about myself, except of my weaknesses.
2 Corinthians 12:3-5

And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. Then I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders said, and do not write it down!”
Revelation 10:4

What i do believe is human being is not so competent or doesn't posses that amount of credential or potential so that he/she can solve all the mysteries of world because of simple basic reason that he is not meant to do so...... what a human being is supposed to do is to attain salvation , so he(GOD) blessed us with that amount of prudence which will help us understand this divine knowledge and act properly on the instruction laid down by him(GOD).......but sometimes human being are not able to understand or are not so well acquaint with reason for this intelligence which is being bestowed to him by his holiness and divert his(human being) capabilities in materialistic things and its mysteries ....... some saints have also drawn an analogy, that is we face the sun then the shadow lie at the back and if turn our back toward the sun then the shadow lies in our front ...... here sun is being compared with the GOD and the shadow is the worldly illusion or mysteries...... they further explain that if we engross our selves in the material world which is similar to turning your back toward sun then everything is very confusing, dark and one is in a state of dilemma......... but once one faces the sun or give heed to god and his word then all the thing fall into place and gradually all the things become clear and all his doubt and delusion comes to rest..................

How true, Amanda:

In fact, the Old Testament prophecies, and words of Jesus were spoken in parables just to make us search, and confuse facts for the blind. You will recall the Book of Revelation. It is highly symbolic, but was a comfort to the early church and Reformers. They knew where they were in history, but didn´t know the final date.

One study you will appreciate, Amanda, is the only part of the Bible that tells you, and twice, that you can not understand it until the end of the days. I´ve met people who have met in groups and prayed for understanding. You can now figure it out, and one thing it does, is prove that Jesus is the Messiah. select http:abiblecode.tripod.com

YES :) that is a great question! and I do believe that. I also think how boring life would be without some faith and some unexplained things.

Very true, and if we knew EVERYTHING we wouldnt need a God, or we would be just as smart as God, which defeats the God purpose.

the bible is encoded in the meaning of words, hypothesis, mirrored images and parables. as we progress and get more intelligent we understand the bible different.
the ten commandments were to create the senses of human and Jesus is to create the soul/spirit of imagination which is also the sixth spirit and this distinguish human from animal.
the senses are the first five spirits of the human. however, we are awaiting the seventh spirit, the quickening spirit to bring us to immortallity.

thats a great thought. i totally agree that there would be no point in faith if we already knew everything. we dont need to know everything either. It's GOD...he shouldn't have to explain himself to us...we should be explaining ourselves to him!

Through faith comes revelation. Perhaps that is the reason.
