I just read a question/thread on transgender (sex change) and WOW, did the xians come outta the woodwork on that one!!
Shrieking things like " It is ungodly! God created us the sex we are for a reason...His reasons!" ....and.... "It's unnatural to have that surgery, God will punish them" ....and so on....
Are these people really unaware that kids and adults continually, by the millions, have physical defect and problems surgically corrected all the time? Many kids come out of the womb with physical impairments that, as she said it "god created"... and we're "unnaturally" correcting those problems with the human body all the time.
Who says that there cannot be people born with physical/sexual characteristics that are NOT a part of their mental gender programming? Does it say that in the bible? NO! Is it some level of hatred you are being taught at church? I'm beginnging to wonder.
Why the hate, people? What drives xians to hate and hurt people like that??

I agree that there are some Christians who speak ill and do not come across as a person who loves, heck not all people who claim to be Christians really are, only God can judge the heart. we are suppose to speak the truth but to also do it with love. From personal experience a person who has a sexual problem whatever the problem has a deep spiritual root. God has made no mistakes in creating, a man is a man and a woman is a woman, trying to change ones anatomy is like telling God he is wrong, (which he is not) but sins and circumstances and whatever we give our minds over to is what directs our course. I do not hate anyone I do not judge them either...but I do have pity and feel compassion for them and if I have a word that I know comes from God to share I share it otherwise I also follow his teaching and "be a worker of my hands and a minder of my own business" Also I would like you to consider that not all Christians spout off hatred remarks to people, that is stereotyping.

I don't understand it either. You would think that people who claim to be following (or even living for) a man as kind and loving as Jesus seems to have been could manage a bit of that loving kindness of their own. Far too many of them seem incapable of it though.
I don't know where they learn it but I seriously doubt it came from the one they claim is God.

Any one who responded with such nasty words should be ashamed of themselves. Just because they are Christians they think they have the right to judge the rest of us. I am happy they don't and that the only judge of my life is me.
Christians - judge other Christians. That is all your Bible gives you authority to do - and even that authority is questionable.

No we are not, YOU however I have noticed are ALWAYS hateful, mean and nasty to Christians.
I do not hate other people, disrespect them or their views, but you Phyllis are ALWAYS doing that in your answers. You show an utter disrespect towards others and a nastiness that is equal to almost no one else on here.
