GOD only tests me to my abilities, and as such compared to others - I get little, light, tests.
Sorry I can't provide any help, other than prayer.
Peace to you also.

This is a lesson I have just learned- the pain tells me how fresh it is.
"Giving it to God" is another way of saying- Trust Him! Some seem to think trust is a one time decision. It isn't!! It is an every moment with every thought- God is in control, He knows what He is doing- I Trust Him. His thoughts toward us are for our good and not for our evil. Know this and believe it.

Even if you have to say every five minutes, "I Trust God" then do it.

The Bible tells us to Cast our cares upon Him because He cares so much for us. To "cast" is to actually throw, the object (or situation) has to leave your hands and rest on Him. If ever you feel you have picked it back up throw it again and again. Each time you trust Him it becomes easier to do so!

Hang in there. You are not alone- "He will never leave us nor forsake us"

I'm not sure what you mean but if I have a problem I would meditate and open myself to the Divine Energy. Whatever is in my heart is exchanged. My negative energy goes out to the Divine and positive, healing energy flows into me. What makes you say you have been called to make a sacrifice? Just Be and Let Be. I apologise if I have misunderstood your question. Blessings to you.

Pray for wisdom knowledge and understanding and remind yourself we are here for a very short time. You give it over to God by ceasing to worry about it or your own circumstances and let Him come and minister to you so you are taken out of this life and placed in a spiritual space where you understand what is happening. Only God can do it but He will if you ask Him to show you how.

A sacrifice eh? I'm not sure what sort of dynamic happening in ones life could be considered a sacrifice. As well, you aren't making you question clear.
If you think offering you sacrifice to god makes you holier, thats OK with me. We all make "sacrifices" as we go thru life. Most mothers make "sacrifices" for their children. However, they don't see it as a sacrifice. Many people have put their life in peril to assist someone who was in life threatening situation. They don't consider it a "sacrifice". To me we all have a responsibility to assist someone who desperately needs help. However, that doesn't make them martyrs.

...there's that state of mind where everything, even our own life, is not ours...so when we are called to do things that the world would have us see as making a sacrifice, its really no sacrifice (to us) at all...its just doing what is asked...

...how easy is it to give up that which we never truely had to begin with...

good question :)

Like Jesus did when He was on the cross....He asked God to take "it" from Him.....so that the burden does not stay within Him, but given to God to do with as He wills....

Whatever we are asked to "let go" of, we release the bondage of having that particular "thing" and, like Jesus, say "Father, you have asked that I give it to You, so, here it is, it is Yours to do with as you will"

Sometimes, like with Abraham, God's will was that Abraham's son NOT be killed ...but just for "giving his son" to God in such a way, Abraham was doubly blessed by God.

That type of thing is a trusting faith....

Otherwise, anything we worry about, have addiction for, etc.,. is to be given to God the same way.

Peace be with you :)

Listening to your heart, finding out who you are, is not simple. It takes for the chatter to quiet down. In the silence of "not doing" we begin to know what we feel.
If we listen and hear what is being offered, then anything in life can be our guide.
LISTEN!

I don't really "give it to God." I become pragmatic and just accept the loss and just do whats needed to be done.

Whatever it is...I just let it go....for if you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you then it's your's to keep. It's true for just about anything in life.

Peace, Love, and Blessings
