i was given it because it had crashed and they just bought a new one! when i tried to lod xp onto it again the cd drive had gone so i fitted a new one out of a old computer and i've managed to get windows on it! But the only prob is that i don't have any drivers for it... i need, graphics card, sound card, usb. drivers.

there is alos a tv tuner card and firewire card inside which i believe have been added as extra's but any ideas for any drivers would be brill!

will tell you what hardware you've got. Then you can google the devices as suggested by other posts. Ideally, go directly to the manufacturers web site.

go into device manager and the ones with yellow symbols on uninstall them 1 by 1 then check for new hardware most of the drivers should load themselves back up

Go to belarc advisor. It will scan your computer and give you a list of all the hardware and a list of all the drivers installed. Then go to each manufacturer's website and download the drivers.

I would suggest opening it up and making a nite of all the serial numbers on the boards then google for them.

Or just ask whoever u got the pc from for the disks if they still have them.

google the computer and find drivers 4 it. i just did that and found a lot.

ask the person what gave you the computer, if he still has the software for them.
