Yes, there would be a lump around your armpits, back of your neck, or underneath your chin. Usually you can't feel them, but when they become filled with fluids, it usually signals a sickness coming, go see your doctor- IMMIDEATLY- you could be getting pnemonia, bronchitus, or strep throat.

Yes, a swollen 'node would feel like a knot, or a marble. They can be small as a pea or large. It can be caused by simple infection, or can be other things not so nice. If concerned, talk to your doc for peace of mind

Some of the lymph glands you can feel, like in your armpit or your neck area. It won't really be like a knot, but it will be very tender if it is swollen.

Swollen lymph nodes are 'harder' than the surrounding tissue, and they are 'painful' when 'pushed on' ... if you even 'think' you have swollen lymph nodes, please see your doctor TOMORROW (Monday) or go to an emergency room today ... it's much better to be 'safe' than sorry.
