like they all say. good moderate exercise with a BALANCED diet will keep you fit and lose weight. tennis is a great start. Your socializing, having fun, getting fit, losing weight and getting good at a sport in which you enjoy. im 16...tall, skinny and light and just got back into some tennis and im lovin it. works well with my running (i umpire australian rules footy) and its all good. good balanced diet you know, we all herd it before; vegetables, fruit, salad and that. but remember, a treat every now and again is perfectly fine...all in moderation. keep up that diet, play your tennis twice a week, keep the routine and you should be fitter than ever. good luck getting back to your weight.

Yes! Tennis is great, I used to play tennis for an hour everyday. It builds up endurance by working out your cardiovascular system, gets your blood pumping, and you burn a lot of calories! Good luck and have fun!

Tennis is fun, and it's exercise but unless it's an unusually rigorous game of singes, it will not be aerobic.

If you keep it up, yes. Six pounds in two weeks sounds reasonable, especially on the routine you described. Sounds vigorous. :-) Good luck!
