very much so. life is what you make of it. your surroundings only effect your mood if you let it. grab life by the kahungas, and do and accomplish, enjoy. There are great surprises ahead.

That is a relative question. For me, life is good. I have an ability to love others, and to be receptive to love. By that, I live life in a way that contributes to my basic foundations and truths. That makes me happy.

Whether we are happy here or not will not be so important later because this is not our permanent home. We are only here temporarily. The afterlife is what matters because once it comes, it will be forever.

I'm happy because I'm traveling through to a better country, Heaven, where our happiness will come full throttle, never lacking as we abide forever with Him in whom we, Christians, have believed.

To be happy here is not our reason to be here.
We are here (on earth) to chose our destination. One of two destinations, one of which will be happyness... eternally.
Here it is trial, tribulation and so on, but of course with some peace of mind and heart, happy moments, blessed events and so on, but it is not the goal for our earth life.
The goal is to reach the eternal happyness (eternity in the presence of God, and truth, love and light) the other destination of eternity in darkness, lies, no love all things that are from God will be absent for He will ne be with those who decided not to chose Him.
