This is a question just to see what most americans think. We had Hitler back then (who wanted to end the Jewish race, along with all undesirables in society) and we have the war in the middle east that seems to be on the verge of wiping out the majority of the middle easterns.
In your opinion, do you think there are any comparisons?

Keep in mind I didn't say that the U.S. is killing off the middle easterners. Middle easterners hate each other enough to more than glad to do that job themselves.
For those who have pinpointed me as saying the U.S. is strictly behind the killing of middle easterners, read the whole question.

To Hunza_Urban--I am not making comparisons between President Bush and Hitler.
You seem to be the one bent on making the comparisons.

OH YES! Same goals, same Nazis with a different last name. World domination through control of fossil fuels. Those who still do not see that, need to get up of their butts and do some reading.

I am so bloody tired of everythinbg being compared to World War II.
Militarily, politically, socially, it was an anomly. It was a freak of nature.
Every war we have fought, except WWII, had anti-war protestors. No other war got nearly unanimous consent. It was a different war with clear bad guys and you knew where they were.
As for killing all middle easterners don't you think it would have been done faster before the war got out of hand? It is stupid to think that based on factual evidence. Hitler was killing Jews on Sept. 1, 1939, did the coalition? I think not.

I guess you have slightly missed the point of the Iraqi freedom. it is not intented to sweep away the majority of the "middle Easterns" as you call the Iraqis, but to sweep away the terrorists... I don's see any comparison nor similarities between WWII and Iraqi freedom. Sorry, pal.
It seems to me that you want to hear comparisons of GWB and Hitler, unfortunately your idea as well as the solution is clearly visible, so the answer is no, GWB is NOT the Hitler of today. Regardless if good or bad kind o' president of the US.

Once again the United States has closed down plants and manufacturing in cases of imminent danger, we are too dependent on foreign nations that have proved they cannot be trusted with our food supplies, steel and electronics. We have diminshed our number of military personnel and would not be able to train tem fast enough for rapid deployment. Some nitwit wants to send the Border Patrol to Iraq and leave our own borders unchecked. They all ready work long tedious hours and are all ready short of manpower!
At least during WW2, the average American could keep and bare arms! There was a since of loyalty and patriotism to our nation. Instead of Tokyo Rose we have the news media in the US telling you something is good when it is not and attempt to brainwash American Citizens!
We have dictators at our southern borders with lots of oil and money and people that are of draft age, Cuba, Venezuela, The Russians are shaking and pounding their fists again and that does not leave out lunatics from the east that have set up camp in California, New Jersey and other places that do not like the United States.
Where's Rosie the Riveter?

Wars are raged by inciting the people through propaganda.......The common people/combatants really don't seem to have a clue as to the behind the scenes reasons why they're fighting,,,,they're just trying to stay alive.
In WWII the Axis powers {Japan, Germany & Italy} seemed intent on expanding their domains thru war.
Roosevelt a socialist, from his actions, sided with Winston Churchill once England was attacked from the sky by Germany, and Hawaii a U.S. Territory @ the time, was attacked by Japanese ships and war planes.
The USA with the latest anti missle propaganda is also trying to expand their domain to the rest of the world...
...Which, by the way, is strictly prohibited by the U.S. Constitution.....according to Congressman Ron Paul, war has to be officially declared by Congress....and it has not been done so, so far.
Which means Iraq & Afghanistan are illegal wars.
Please allow me to quote from the Constitution:
Article I
Section 9
No state shall without the consent of congress keep troops or ships of war in time of peace.....or engage in war, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent danger....etc.
So lets see what's really going on here.
Apparently, because 19 foreign terrorists, born in Yemen, and Saudi Arabia commited suicide on 911 the President & Vice President of the U.S. {Who has major financial interest in multi-national companies} have declared war on terrorism, worldwide.
In no way does this give them the authority to invade any foreign "Sovereign" nation.
The people and governments of Iraq & Afghanistan are guilty of nothing until convicted of an international crime in an impartial international law court. Yet the U.S. military has been ordered to drop bombs and other acts of war on these soverneign nations.
Which is the same thing Japan did to Hawaii and Germany did to England @ the start of WWII.
Please anyone reading think about this!
The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency {CIA} apparently is authorized to travel to foreign countries and seek out any and all terrorists and suspected terrorist groups before they ever get to U.S. soil!!!
Unfortunately they and the FBI failed to prevent the 911 tragady.
With current satellite imagery, any military troop training grounds should be able to be detected, anywhere on earth.
George Bush sr. along with Dick Cheney were a major part of the CIA when the CIA was backing Iraq in its war against Iran..........I ask the readers what's really going on here???????
Thanks for reading sorry about the length.

You lost me there when you claim the war in Iraq is on the verge of wiping out the majority of middle easterners..
Who-wha..?
you are clearly either deluded or just listening to other idiots to even think that.
The War in Iraq is better compared to the Vietnam war. but even there the similarities are only skin deep. and fail on deeper analyisis.

if we were being authorized to kill all arabic folk, there wouldnt be commanders who have their soldiers afraid to shoot back due to politics.

Hell no, in WW2 we went to war with the people that caused the problem, not because our president had it planned for years to attack the wrong guy, and we had good leadership, not like the crapola we got now. I was there and believe me this is different!
