I weight about 138 pounds, 5'6 height, 29 in waist and skinny. (I was not always skinny.) I have some muscle definition and not much in the abs.
I do strength training on a Total Gym and weights 2 -3 times a week.
20 min to1 /2 hour ab work out 4 times a week.
Pilaties 1-3 times a week.
I do Tae Kwon Do when ever I can get o class up to twice a week.

My goal is to get more definition and bulk (I don't want to look like a body builder.)

abs are made in the kitchen....drink alot of water, do cardio 3times a week

I would say do tons of crunches with weights.
