Well, I don't really know why he's walking into walls so get him checked out by the vet for that problem. And no, your dog is not a freak for eating cat feces. Many dogs have a taste for feces from other animals -- and even their own. It's because animal feces often contain undigested food. The dogs smell this and want to eat it. My brother's dog follows his rabbit around and tries to eat whatever the bunny leaves behind. It's disgusting and in no way should you encourage it. But that's why he does it. I've read that spraying a product like Bitter Apple on the mess will keep your dog from eating it. Or, you can clean up your cat's mess before your dog gets into it.

I'm not sure about walking into walls, but getting into the litter box is normal behavior. Cats don't keep protein in their body, which is why their food is different from dog's, and the dog smells that and helps himself to what he thinks smells good. The only way to cure that is to feed the cat a special powder that makes their discharge smell different or to clean up after the cat as much as possible.

Walking into walls means your dog could be blind, or have a head injury, or any number of other things. Eating cat poo is not uncommon, although it may be indicative of a nutritional deficiency. See a vet!
If the dog checks out OK and the cat poop eating thing bothers you, there's a product you can feed the cat that will make the poop taste bad to the dog.

Put a baby gate in front of the room where the litter box is....but leave enough room at the bottom for the cat to get into.
Get a tin can, and put pennies in it- about 10, put the lid on. When you see your dog getting into something he shouldn't be, shake the can- works wonders!!!
It's really unhealthy for your dog to eat cat feces.
