Should I feed Innova or Canidae, I have a 7 month italian greyhound. I don't know which one is better, or if you can suggest another dog food...

Both Innova and Canidae are among the top 5 or 6 dog foods out there and you can't go wrong feeding either one. The other brands are Timberwolf Organics, Solid Gold and Wellness. None of these brands have any of the cheap fillers like corn or rice gluten, beet pulp, wheat or sorghum that dogs can't digest. So either Innova or Canidae would be great for your IG puppy.

Both are excellent foods. Neither one contain the cheap fillers & by products that foods like IAMS/Eukanuba, Science Diet, pedigree and other store brands contain. They both have meat as at least the first 2 ingredients.

Canidae is a bit cheaper in price then Innova if price is a consideration.

Depends on the definition of 'gucci dog food!'

I'm with lilprincess on this, Hills Science Diet is my fave and I like Iams too. Actually I'm not familiar with Innova or Canidae, but as long as people aren't feeding their dogs a supermarket brand, especially Pedigree, Caesar or Bakers, I don't lecture!

The best food for dogs is an all-natural diet. Very little of commercial dog food is safe, especially with this latest dog food recall. You can feed your dog a homemade diet based on meat, some carbs, and veggies. This is healthier than commercial dog food. I have a blog at http://www.homemadehealthypetfood.com that will provide you with more information.

I've read that foods made from "human-grade" meats are the best and those you can find at higher-end speciality pet shops. I feed my dog Royal Canin, a higher end dog food you can buy at almost all pet shops. It's not a particularly posh brand or anything, but it's one of the better ones you can buy at a regular pet shop.

I like the Fish and Chips and Lamb Millet and Rice formulas from Flint River Ranch.

They are wheat, chicken, by product, animal digest, dye, artificial preservative and corn free. They are made to be non allergic, as well.

Healthy, you feed less, they poop less, and it has a money back guarantee.

I would suggest IAMS or Science Diet. They are more easily digestable and cause less health problems as other food may
IF you go with a supermarket brand they are filled with fillers and are not very digestable!!! Stick with a national brand and you won't have any problems!!!
