So this guy I REALLY like was talking to me and a bunch of his and my friends on the bus on the way home from a school overnight trip yesterday. He said that he wouldn't kiss me, and in the nicest way he told me not to take it personally. This was in front of a bus full of people. Does he really mean it? I always see him looking and smiling at me, and he was possibly even trying to play Footsies with me on the trip. He talks to me about totally random stuff and even complemented me on my hip-hop hat the other day. How could he say that he doesn't like me (he said that in school when somebody asked him the other day. He said he likes me as a person but not like like)? I could swear he likes me, and he's always trying to make me laugh. Sometimes he flirts with other girls, but usually with me most. Does he truly mean he wouldn't kiss me, or was he just saying that to be cool and funny, and so he wouldn't give away who he likes? I'm totally confused here, please help! Thanx a lot 4 ur tim

Thank you for all of your help so far. But I'm getting mixed answers: Does he like me a lot, as a friend, or should I forget about him. I can't really forget about him, I've devoted a whole year to him and he's so special. I've gotten this far and I really have feelings for him! Plus, what can I do know based on what you think he means about that? Should I still hang around him, be his friend? Or should I flirt even more? Should I flirt less? What should I do that wouldn't ruin anything good that might come out of this?

he said that he wouldnt kiss you just so that people wouldnt know he had feelings for you and it was a bus full of other people. i dont think he meant it. he was just probably embarrsed to show the feelings he felt about you. he smiles and looks at you. boys dont usually do that when they dont like someone but i really think he likes you. he probably moves to slow then the other boys out there do. you should give him sometime to feel it. and when someone asked him if he liked you he just said that he liked you as a person cause he didnt wanna show the feelings.

i know exactly how he feels about u. look this doode has a little sumden thier for u but not to the extent were he will like u relationship wise he finds u attractive but he can never see himself with you. dont take it personally i mean even jessica alba has doodes that think shes hott but will never date her.any who dnt waste ur time if he is saying all dat shitt then drop him and move on

sounds to me like he is a player, not for saying that stuff to sound cool, but how he flirts with alot of other girls at school. if he does it a little to other girls i can understand, but if he does that to practically everyone, id say give up on him and move on because your heart isnt worth being broken!

well it appears he likes you as a friend..as the person you show him you are...maybe he likes you alot more than hes saying but only he can answer this sweetie... maybe he meant he wouldnt kiss you because he doesnt like youa s a g/f to kiss you and maybe hes just being agentleman..ok?? dont wory about it..if he likes you for more than a friend im sure he'll tell ya..i think your wanting him to like you and maybe you need to tell him and see what he says..hugsss an good luck sweetie

i think he likes you but dosen't really wan't ot be commited because that's how i was before i asked my gf out and i still feel like that sometimes but bcoz shez dere i hav 2 chill and i can't reely flirt wiv oder galz anymor so give him some time and know that he thinks you're special just like i thought my girlfriend was special before i asked her out. he just wants to be free for a while

Sounds like you shouldnt waste your time. Why would you go after someone who told you IN FRONT OF EVERYONE that he wasnt into you? sounds kinda pathetic. Ignore him.. it will probably make him like u more and youll look cool as opposed to pathetic.

yep, thats it, when i was young i never told anybody who i liked, and i would act like him to the girls i liked. Say i wouldn't. it is cool. I think that you should play him at his own game for A BIT, than see how well he likes it, make it clear that you like if he likes, make him jealous. Use your head here.

sounds like he thinks you are really cool, but not like you as a lover. if you like him, just play along, you don't know, one day you might do something that will make him think twice about you.
