My friends from China were brought up to see religion as superstition and something that would soon be gone from the Earth. They were disappointed at how well religion has caught on in the US. Some joined churches merely for the social aspect, but most of them are still atheists and find the whole concept ridiculous. You might want to find out what she thinks about it before embarressing yourself in her eyes.

Why do you want to force your beliefs on her? Did she ask you are do you just think you have a right to do this?
Just because she is Chinese doesn't mean she doesn't have a religion of her own and you have NO RIGHT to make her question that belief. How would YOU feel if she gave you a bunch of literature about Shintoism or Buddahism?

How arrogant. How insensitive. How incredibly disrespectful. Leave her alone. She has every right to her own beliefs, and unless she specifically asks you about yours, then you have NO RIGHT to spread your religious propaganda. This is EXACTLY why so many like me despise christianity!!!

Why do you just leave people alone and not try to "witness" to them. They have their own religion in China. Maybe she doesn't want to be Christian. Maybe her religion is right and she should witness to you.

You want to witness nonsense in someone's native language, how commendable.
