Hey, there really IS only one answer to most questions at this forum. How I see it is everyone thinks their point of view is correct, otherwise they wouldn't have it. The atheists believe in what their 5 senses tell them but how do they know they only have 5 senses because that's the reality they've settled for? How do they know that they've just bought into the side that's winning, the one that is dominant in the world and we can see how intelligent the dominant viewpoint is doing by the fact that the ozone is being destroyed, vanity is king, there is no fairness in the world and it's the golden rule, those with the gold rule. Hell, we have Bush in the White House and Idiocracy is not a comedy movie but a phophecy for how things are heading if they don't change drastically :-)

Who among us are the intelligent. The ones with ego's and some knowledge that makes us think we already have all the answers. Or are they the ones that only want to think inside the box on the band wagon....and refuse to change our minds no matter what....or are they then ones that keep their thoughts to themselves, do their own research and study that is independent of others.......I expect that these question will not be answered with any thought only with ego and emotion as that is the norm on here.....
Blaming the many for what a few did is not the way to go.....thousands verses millions and millions...if you get my drift.

Don't like the burning thing. It's really not called for. After all, they mostly just don't understand what they're up against.
I reckon some sort of injection would do.

(I'm prepared to make an exception for the Kenny613Taylors, though: ignorant AND loudly offensive is a straw too far.)

relatively, geocentricism is on no account pronounced in the Bible. there isn't something that even comes close. additionally, at an identical time as Galileo replaced into imprisoned at one component, his e book "The Assayer" replaced into committed to the hot pope, who replaced into very happy with Galileo. And "The Assayer" replaced into written at an identical time as Galileo replaced into imprisoned. it is likewise believed that Galileo's later imprisonment had extra to do along with his insulting of the Jesuits than it did of his suggestions on the universe. besides, directly to your question. I comprehend that at one time the Catholic church replaced into very plenty against technological know-how. yet you relatively would be unable to blame them. They weren't the sole ones. What, do you relatively think of that theories like those of Copernicus and Galileo have been nicely-met with the aid of the blooming medical community? of direction not! They challenged what scientists beforehand of those situations thought they knew! that is substantial to bear in mind that most of the scientists that contributed to the way we view the international now have been theists of a few form, if not Christian. and actually, present day technological know-how has discounted numerous Darwin's theories. He had the excellent thought, yet he replaced into off on a great form of issues. I have no subject with evolution, and that i'm a Christian.

I think you should probably treat us like the Church SHOULD have treated Galileo.
To be honest I'm more worried about the Catholic Church deciding to start burning people again, than the "intelligent among us".

Conflict develops when one feels himself to be in the right and runs into opposition. If one is not convinced of being in the right, opposition leads to craftiness or high-handed encroachment but not to open conflict. If a man is entangled in a conflict, his only salvation lies in being so clear-headed and inwardly strong that he is always ready to come to terms by meeting the opponent halfway. To carry one the conflict to the bitter end has evil effects even when one is the right, because the enmity is then perpetuated. It is important to see the great man, that is, an impartial man whose authority is great enough to terminate the conflict amicably or assure a just decision.

I think that's a horrible way to treat anyone, and the christians who persecuted the previously mentioned were not right in their actions. As a human you should take the humanist view that all deserve to be treated kindly.

You're ignoring a little thing called evidence. Galileo had it, and that's why he was dangerous (to the Church). Creationists don't, and that's why they are dangerous (to all of knowledge).

No because we are smarter than that. We don't rely on silly fables which come from that book of shadows known as the bible. We have minds vastly superior to them and will use our minds to beat them.
