The night sweats have been going on for months now. I am 35 and otherwise feel well. My doctor sent me for a chest xray. he said 'to elliminate things'. Have I anything to worry about? Is there anything I should ensure I am tested for? Thanks for any advice!!

I would suggest that you do carefully read about the Homeopathic medicine China as suggested by Soul Doctor, don't let our conventioonal doctors scare you into believing otherwise. I have seen symptoms similar to yours totally disappear without a trace with the use of this remedy and exactly no side effects and no complications. I use homeopathic medicine and so does all of my family with brilliant results. Follow the link to read more about China(Cinchona Off) http://homeoint.org/books3/kentmm/china.htm

for the night sweats, i dont know. but for the wbc count, the normal range is 4000-11000/cubic mm. so, how much is above 1200? below 4000 - leukopenia, above 11000 - leukemia. and i dont think they, too, got any connection with ur night sweats. besides, u r normal, rite? sorry if i said anything wrong here.

Your white count must be over 12,000 not 1,200 but you haven't said what the count actually is. Your doctor may be ruling out active TB for one. Let your doctor worry about what you need to be tested for. And try not to worry (easier said than done, I know).
