Take a cool bath -- not ice cold, but cool -- and don't use bath salts, oil or bubble bath.

Do not scrub your skin or shave your skin. Use a soft towel and pat your skin dry.

Use a sunburn remedy containing aloe vera.

Use a light moisturizer or a dusting of powder to ease chafing.

Stay out of the sun. If the sunburn is severe or you are blistering, feel faint or nauseous, see a doctor immediately.

you didnt say how long ago you received the burn if its more than a day ago the damage is done. try taking tylenol or ibupropen drink lots of water for the skin to hydrate its self stay away from alcohol for a few days. wear loose cool clothing you can get a product called aloe vera from banana boat at the store in the sunbathing department you can put it on now just to help cool you off refrigerate it. but if you would have come right in after the burn and cooled your skin sometimes i stand in front of the air conditioner to cool off or cool bath and soak 30 minutes dont put alot of clothes on maybe stay in your swimsuit the rest of the day out of the sun and put aloe vera all over my skin about every half hour to forty five minutes a new application. this seems to produce the best results for me and plenty of fluid so your cooling from the inside and outside. good luck

Aloe Vera, it must grow where you live as it likes hot & dry (but make sure it is Aloe Vera, there are similar looking plants that will make the burn worse) Cold tea bags. Or just use lots of moisturiser to keep the skin moist. I would give another answer, but it's a bit perverted & would get me a violation ;~) PS: Good to see you back, and hope you had a good time in Galveston

To easy your pain, try standing in a really cold shower or fill your bath tub with water and add some ice. Burns are caused from the heat source. They continue to hurt until you remove the heat. The best way is to place something cooler than your burn on the burn. Therefore you need to keep it cool. Stand in your shower for at least 15 minutes. This should help you.

Well, if you have an aloe vera plant, this is the most effective because it's from this that the soothing lotions are made from. Just crack a leaf in half and rub it on the burnt area to cool it off.

Put raw egg whites on your sunburn- it will help....actually raw eggs have many great uses. I put raw egg in my hair once a week, leave it in for a few minutes and then wash it out- it leaves my hair extra shiny.....my mom taught me these tricks- and she's a pretty smart woman =)
