Exceptions exist, of course, but, as I scan the answers hereabouts, I find that the majority of the sound and intelligent replies come from the minds of women.

Men have strong backs, Women have strong minds . With exceptions. There are many intelligent men in the world. But you won't find many here.

Honestly, I have not noticed a difference between gender.
Now, as for young answerers, the males get aggressive and hostile quite often. Unlike the males, the females at least try to stay serious and mostly calm while they display their ignorance
Also remember, you may not really know what gender these folks are!

Sometimes I wish I had gone into psychology instead of physics, because I could get a good number of studies out of yahoo answers religion section alone. I want to do a statistical study and see if you're more likely to get a 'thumbs down' if you use bad grammar and spelling, regardless of what you were saying.

I think most of the serious people here are the females. It seems many of the guys just want to spread hate and fight, ofcourse the females that spread hate and fight are here too.
