Okay, I just have taken my 3 year old Shih Tzu to PetSmart for grooming. He peed yellow a few times (staff had to keep cleaning after him) Then when I handed him to the groomer he peed brown? Today he first peed yellow then brown again. This has never happened before and he looks normal.

Is he castrated? If not, it could well be a sex hormone thing. I would take him, or at least a sample of his urine to the vet to be sure because without seeing the urine I can't confirm it's not blood. If he is castrated he most definitely needs to go to the vet.

My dog did the same thing. I took him to the vets and they told me he was highly sexed and there will be a female dog somewhere that he can scent. You should find that after a couple of weeks it will stop. On the safe side I would still pop to the vets with him, just to ease your mind....

It could be. Take him to the vet. Could be a urinary tract infection. the fact that he peed several times is unusual too as well as the color, which could be blood.
