1. The cab driver lied to me today, saying that he was only gonna charge me $5 to go to the University & then switched his mind & charged me meter price when I got there.

2. The other day, I was moving stuff out of brother's house & putting it in storage, & the cab driver was rushing me & left the meter on & (I know it ain't his obligation but) if he was in such a rush, why didn't he help me? & his lame excuse was that he lied & said he has bad knees & couldn't walk up stairs. Come to find out, it wasn't true because he waited until after I paid him just before I got out of the car to tell me that nothing was wrong with his knees & that he doesn't like being nice to black people.

They just want the money and do not care about return business. I would not trust one if he agreed to charge a lower price. He should not have treated you so badly. I hope his bigotry gets him in big trouble some day.

I am friends with an elderly couple. A cab driver (who was from India) picked them up at the airport. He was so rude and kept saying derogatory things about black people (they are black) that they finally had him let them out at Wal-Mart with their luggage and all. They called a friend to come and get them. I was so angry. Their minister called the cab company and reported it, but we never found out what happened to him (if anything).

1. I'm not sure if there was clear and concise communication between the two but he doesn't have to do you any favor by giving you a discount.

2. Why is he obligated to help you when you should have been prepared when he arrived. Your story doesn't really make any sense as to why he would say something in the lines of not wanting to help black people. How did that conversation come about? Was it kind of a jokes on you situation that he 'tricked' you into carrying your own belongings?

They do it because they get away with it every day. There are people who let them do this so they think they can do it to everyone.

Sounds like you have people problems in general. A hack's job is not helping you move your crap. It's shuttling you from one place to another.
