Eat 1000-1200 calories a day and exercise daily. I was 171 lbs 2 months ago and with this diet have lost 21 lbs so far (with 1 week of cheating while on vacation) What I do is this
Breakfast- 1 egg, 1/2 grapefruit, 1/2 cup whole grain cereal with skim milk
Exercise in the morning- 2 mile run, 10 minutes on an elliptical machine, 10 minutes resistance training for thighs, abs, and butt and a Pilates or Yoga class.
Mid morning snack- 1 cup of grapes
Lunch 2 slices of turkey sliced deli thin, 1 cup of raw veggies with low cal ranch dressing
Afternoon snack- 2 cups air popped popcorn
Take a walk with the kids
Dinner- Lean Cusine
Play outdoors with the kids or rollerblade
Evening snack- 1/2 cup Sherbet

Join a weight loss center and a gym. If you join the ones with the food that is made for you it takes the guess work out of it. This may not seem like a realistic way to lose for many people, but if you want to get it off quickly, you'll need help. Remember, to keep it off you must then eat a similar type meal that you can fix at home. Don't think.......I'm going to get this off for this event and then it doesn't matter. If you put some hard-earned money into losing the weight, you might be more inclined to want to keep it off later. Good luck.

What's the hurry? It sure took you much more than 2 months to put all the extra weight. I don't like to use the word impossible instead let me say is not realistic to lose all that weight in 2 months. Go to a Dr., a good diet and exercise will do all the things you want in ab out 5/6 months and then will be up to you to keep it off, unless you want to lose weight for only one particular reason and then go back to your old habits. That will be a shame

i did it but i also weighed alot more than you, about 335, i dropped 45 or 50 pounds the first 2 months, and about 70 in 4 months, i am kinds of stuck right now though at about 75 pounds lost, but i have kept it off since starting last october

i did it kind of following the atkins diet, i completely stopped drinking pop every day, no candy or suger, under 20 grams of carb a day for a month or two, lots of fiber (flaxseed-i make a flaxseed bread)

so just excersize, dont eat junk, and actually make an effort,
i have tried all the drugs and stuff before that, only thing that has worked is effort-low carbs,no junk, fiber, etc

you could do that and not in an unhealthy way. i'm always asking diet questions because i like changing my diets up. the past week i've just been "freestyling" i guess you would call it. i've been eating really healthy and i lost 5 lbs in 5 days. this is what i did.

-breakfast- drink 2 glasses of water, 3 slices of cheese and 5 whole wheat crackers or an apple and/ or...grapefruit. then i go for a walk.

-lunch- a weight watchers meal (buy it from the grocery store) or... brown rice and/ or broccoli and again 2 glasses of water. then i go swimming and tread water and do laps

-dinner- 2 glasses of water and chicken and brown rice or steak (lean) brocolli as a side, or eat fish, anything that's lean. then i go for a walk and do sit ups.

eat as much fruit or brocolli and drink water. i seriously have lost a pound a day. i think this could work for you and help you acheive your goal.

good luck.

p.s. if you like grapes... freeze them and eat as many as you want. they taste so good

To be honest the most you could sensibly lose in that time is around 20lbs. I'm sorry but trying to lose more is unhealthy and asking people to support you in doing this by not telling you that it is a health risk, is not really going to help you.

more realistically it will be like 20 pounds in 2 months. protein is the key do not eat......

sugar any kind
carbs no potatos, pasta, fries
limit fruit to one a day
one fresh salad with just vinegar on it

and 64 oz of water a day

eat as much protein chicken eggs and such

You have to come up with a plan that work for you. You could talk to your doctor. You could go to the bookstore and read every book on diet, exercise, and healthy living.

But the bottom line is that you need to have a diet and an exercise plan, and then stick to it.

It is almost impossible to lose 5-6 pounds per week without dying.
