I don't think there are any free software that you want. But here are a couple, depending on what you have (PC or Mac).
PC- MyScreenRecorder
Mac- iShow

If you have the Smart Board program you can get it free but if you don't I can't help you. If you have the smartboard program click on the button with film and the red dot.

This is free and pretty good, but it doesnt record sound, you will need a separate program for that proably.

if you have microsoft publisher i am sure you can get microsoft producer for free from there site. search microsoft for it.
