No, you do not need to wait. But you should probably train a little lighter today. Exercising them again today will help relieve the sore muscle and work the -- what is it called "lactic acid" that builds up in a sore muscle-- anyway training again today will help work that acid out and can help the sore muscle feel better.

lol, i kno what you mean by sore muscles, one time i did too many calf raises ( because they were my first calf exercises i did, and it wasn't hurting at first, I was so sore, that I was limping off the bed and around the house ). Yes, I would suggest doing medium weight dumbells, and medium repetitions. If you feel like going all out or wind up sore anyway, STRETCH!!! A lot of people say you should stretch before, but I find it better that you stretch afterwards, because your muscles didn't do anything serious before so the stretch would go to waste. Yes, you should do some cardio. For me, I did 8 55 meter dashes, lol. O yea, you should really give time between the exercises. Cuz doing an exercise already should put your muscle stimulation to the max. The point in not stopping is to increase stimulation. But if you don't let your muscles rest up after an exercise, it will just wind up hurting your muscles. This may be a bad analogy but it's like using a gun, if you keep using it, it will overheat and not work.

Don't overwork it. Better to wait than strain it. Perhaps you should back off on your training program a bit, if your muscles are still sore days after a workout. You may be pushing your body too hard.
Be sure you are warming up and cooling down properly as well, and plenty of stretching (before and after). That will help lessen the soreness issue when you work a muscle, and decrease the chance of injury.

Just stretch and the sore will go away.
If it doesn't go away for a few days later try consulting a doctor.
My chest soreness took about 2 days for it to go away.Everyday I stretch.
For your information, the soreness of a muscle does not represent how hard you have worked. If you just started training your biceps after a very long time it is normal to get soreness.Later on you won't get any soreness.

when doing weight training you have to wait 48 hours before you train that muscle so if its been 2 days then go right ahead. soreness is completly normal when you do weight training

Yes. Wait until the muscle has recovered before you train again.

Yes, if you train an injured muscle it will either have worse strain, or it could tear.
