im turning 17 this year and i havent even been in a relationship once. people tell me im pretty but guys dont flock to me. there's like 1 or 2 once in a blue moon but i dont like them. well seriously, i dont know whats wrong with me. people say im fun, hot and funny. so i dont see why i dont even have like, a decent suitor.
is it me or is it just majority of the guys dont like my type?

wow, thanks for the answers and encouragement. people do tell me i look cold and call me the ice beauty. but once they knew me, they felt that i was totally the opposite. haha, and yeah.. some people just dont believe me when i told me that i've not been in a bgr before. and yeah, i dont make the first move and i dont think i will.

Maybe you come on too strong? Or maybe you act conceited? Ask one really close friend to be brutily honest and really listen without getting mad.

So you do occasionally have guys who are interested in you, but you're not interested in them. Maybe you come across as picky and high maintenance, and you scare the rest away?
There's nothing wrong with being picky and demanding the best, but if that's what you choose to do, you also need to accept that it might be a very long time until that ideal person comes your way. I'm not trying to discourage you on this point, I actually think it's admirable, I'm just pointing out that your decision will have consequences.

I suspect that the "1 or 2 in a blue moon" could be ones that you've regarded with contempt, waiting for someone who's your perfect idea.
Sometimes people will pass up a job opportunity the same way, because they feel it's not good enough for them.

it could be that guys just might not get to know you well enough. one thing i will tell you is, that if almost all of your friends are girls, they might do you a dis service. girls tend to lie alot with their friends to make them feel good. if you look on a girls myspace that is a huge loser, and go to her pic comments, her friends will leave comments like your so pretty. or you loook really cute in this one. and im not saying this is the case with you. but it is a possibility. basically become an outgoing person, get some confidence, get out there and be one of those popular girls. the only person holding you back is yourself. email me if you have further questions jrwoodfield@yahoo.com

If you dont put out as they say the boys will not bother with you they are at seventeen out for a bit so nice girls are out of bounds just stick to your principals and a great man will turn up at the right time ~~

well i cant answer this as i dont know you as a person but ive never been in a relationship myself im 18 and male but i think pateince is a virtue and dont rush into a relationship and get the right person

mayb u are lookn in the wrong places. find a new area n new batch of guys to check out. mayb these guys are shallow or just scared of u.
