Is this unhealthy, i have probably only been eating no more then 1200 cals a day, i have been eating small portions of peanut buter, bananas and smoothis as well as 2 small portions of chicken and a little pasta with a bunch of water. I have been doing 20-35 minutes worth of cardio two/three times a day, and working out about an hour each day (not all at once)

-The kicker is i dont see much results......but the scale says i have gone down 3-4lbs.......*confused*, when i stand up i can see my abs but when i sit down the baby fat i was trying to lose still shows a little bit, I dont think i have lost any muscle mass either, whats up with this?, THANKS for the help in advanced!

(keep in mind im 16, was 130lbs now down to 126lbs, height: 5'9)

That happened to me a lot as a teen. I'd be 122lbs during the day, go out dancing and weight 119lbs when I got home. My guess is that it's mostly water weight. I had a horrible diet when I was younger. I wouldn't eat some days and only drink Pepsi. It's not unusual you would lose a few pounds in 2 days once and awhile but it shouldn't continue at that rate.

(BTW, you are almost underweight for your height at age 16.)

Im trying to lose weight too. I lost 2kg 4lbs in a month was weighed end of August and hoped to have lost more by now. I use the manual treadmill too. I worry if i dont exercise incase I dont lost the weight but it also helps me to stay fit as well. I feel I weigh too much and want to be slim as well. Maybe exercise is another best way to help you lose weight more. And just eat moderately. I found it hard at first not to eat sensibly but now its getting into the routine. Maybe the best exercise is walking and running about esp in the house or flat.

You need to eat more calories. 1200 calories is practically eating nothing.
