Don't paper train - It will make potty training (Getting her to go outside) very difficult and take a long time. Take her outside several times a day and limit her food / water intake until she understands she needs to do her business outside.

For the fleas, talk to your vet and get her on either Frontline or Advantix (The doses are based on weight).

Can't help with the training, but I can with the fleas.

Go to the vet - you will get a treatment that is both effective and safe. Frontline spray is quite safe for young dogs, from 2 days of age. As long as your son doesn't lick the dog or stroke the dog when treated and then suck his hands he'll be fine - even if he did ingest some, Frontline is pretty harmless.

Please don't start bathing your pup in dish soap or any of the other silly remedies people always suggest on here, just go to your vet. You don't have to take the dog, just pop in.
