NO, NO, NO! God didn't kill himself on a cross! It was His Son, Jesus Christ. His Son offered himself as a ransom sacrifice for all mankind because of sin. As Adam was a perfect man before his Fall, so we need another perfect man, that's Jesus, as a ransom to buy us out of that original sin.

God did not kill himself. You have the wrong understanding. Ask your self this. Why would Jesus pray to himself in heaven, if he is on earth.
And why would Jesus want to prove everything he did, in the presense of people. was given to him by God.
So how can Jesus ask God to give him the power to do what he did. If he is God?
And why would Jesus, say to his followers. I go to pray to my father and yours. Your question does not make any sense. You need to reread, whatever it was you read.
And you will see verses. where Jesus is seen praying to God, Or is asking God(his father)to feed the many people who folowed him. So the question remains.
How can Jesus be God, if Jesus is praying to God?
Why would Jesus, go to his father after he died on the cross, if He was his own father.
You misunderstood. they are one in spirit and in mind. not of the same body, Or flesh.

God didn't kill Himself - men killed His only begotten Son.

There's a lot more I could go into to halp you understand, but I think it'd be "pearls before swine".
