An arrest warrant will be issued for you if you DON'T show up for Jury Duty!
If you have a "failure to appear" warrant, you need to resolve that within whatever jurisdiction issued the original ticket.
You will not be arrested when you show up for Jury Duty. The Judge wouldn't allow that. It is difficult enough to convene a jury that no judge in his right mind would condone using a jury summons as a means of arresting folks.
But take care of that outstanding ticket. There are usually only a few reasons don't show up for a citation; the most common being they "can't afford to pay for the ticket." That's a matter of living within your means. "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime." If you can't afford to pay a ticket, don't speed (park illegally, or whatever.)
You now need to own up to your personal responsibility. Get this cleared up.
And do show up for jury duty. You'd be compounding your problems if you didn't.

If you live in a really small town, maybe. Otherwise, I doubt it. I had warrants for a while. I had to clear them up for school, but I got pulled over by the police several times while they were active. The police didn't do anything but tell me I should take care of my warrants.

I can also think of at least 4 friends who have warrants and have had them for quite a while! One had to go to court for something else and they asked him about it. He just said he didn't plan on taking care of it that day and walked right out the door.

Oh, and I've failed to show for jury duty and nothing happened then, either.

Now for the bad part...

I had a failure to appear for expired stickers in a small town and they DID arrest me when I shown up in court about a week later.

So, it really just depends on who's court you skipped. Arresting someone is a lot of hassle and paper work, though. The bigger and busier the court is, the less likely it is that they'll bother.

You could quite possibly be arrested when you show up for jury duty. You could also be arrested for Not showing up for jury duty.
Your best bet would be to pay the fine(or at least make arrangments to pay it over time). Not showing up for jury duty is a bigger crime that not paying a traffic ticket. If you don't already have a criminal record, why start one? PAY THE FINE!

Its a pretty safe bet you will be arrested if they happen to run a check on your back ground and how long ago you were suppose to appear in court and failed ti appear just do you self a favor don't be another Paris Hilton, okay just pay the damn ticket and get it over with before you have more legal problems and jail time and a suspended license as well all because you were to lazy to appear in court and pay the ticket you caused the ticket to be issued to you so man or woman up and pay the damn thing like and adult or continue acting like a child and wait to get a pissed off judge who will really slap it to you the choice is yours genius.

Yes, you will get arrested either way. If you don't show up for jury duty, it will take longer and you will have more charges to answer for. If you go into court and offer to pay your fine, you will not get arrested.

It is a risk. There is now a warrant out on you for failure to appear in court, which you must do if you do not pay the fine. They will not come looking for you, but if they happen upon you say, in a traffic situation, etc you will become a guest in their facility. I would stay away from any local or state police stations & courts till you resolve the situation. Just call the courthouse, ticets & fines division, & ask what you need to do now. Laws vary state to state.
