hi im 12years old and im a christian and i plan to cover my head is there any covering that i can wear other than a hijab

You can wear just a simple head scarf of any kind; it needn't be hijab. Or you can wear what's called a chapel veil or mantilla, basically a lacy scarf, usually black or white. The link below shows some examples.
I think it's wonderful that you want to do this. It was much more common when I was your age (oh, a very long time ago! 40 years or so) than it is now. Almost all Christian women, Protestant and Catholic alike, used to wear some kind of head covering to worship. Some still do -- again, across all denominations. I don't think it's anyone's place to tell a pious woman of any age what she should or shouldn't do in this regard.
By the way, sweetie, at age 12 you technically shouldn't be here. Take it from a grandma; Y! Answers isn't a good place for you to hang out, yet, unless one of your parents is sitting right there with you.

Did you know that you don’t have to cover your head always like the Muslims with their hijab? 1 Corinthians 11:5 states: “But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoreth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven,” Remember this: you put on a veil when you enter a church, when you pray and when you prophesy. You can remove the veil afterwards.
The verse is continued in 1 Corinthians 11:13-15 which state: “Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.”

Most women and girls use a veil of sorts, that covers the head but not the face.
