Campylobacter. It's a bacteria that causes severe diarrhoea and digestive upset and can be fatal if left untreated (it's not hard to treat)

I would have a nice discussion with your vet though as they're the ones who can give you the best and most relevant info. I try not to turn to the web and I never 100% trust what I read, you don't half get some bullsh*t on the web, as this Yahoo Answers often demonstrates.

Campylobacteriosis is a bacterial disease caused by Campylobacter jejuni or Campylobacter coli. Campylobacter usually causes a mild to severe infection of the gastrointestinal system, including watery or bloody diarrhea, fever, abdominal cramps, nausea, and vomiting. A rare complication of Campylobacter infection is Guillain-Barre syndrome, a nervous system disease that occurs approximately 2 weeks after the initial illness develops. ♥

Its a type of bacterial infection a course of antibiotics from your vet should clear it up
