Actually it is because ADAM ate of the fruit that we are all sinners. Eve was deceived by the serpent, but Adam knew better, yet he still disobeyed God's commandment and ate of the fruit. If Adam had refused, God would have destroyed Eve and would have created another wife for Adam.
If you read Genesis carefully, you will see that while God punished Eve for her transgression, He held Adam ultimately responsible for the whole incident.
Genesis 3:17-19
17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.
18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field.
19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”
And from that single act of disobedience, we were all made sinners.

Eve knew what eating of the fruit would do, and yet she did everything she could to persuade Adam to eat of it also. So Eve not only ate of the fruit but was an accomplice in Adam's downfall. If Eve hadn't done either then none of that would have occurred. Adam was tricked as much as Eve was, but Eve had the added sin of tricking him.
Eve was told the same thing as Adam was by God before her disobedience, so her guilt in that regard is the same.
And the reason women bleed every month is because God cursed them this way for her sin. That's why women sometimes refer to that time of the month as "The Curse".

The trouble with Eve was that she was ignorant. Adam told her she had a lovely pear - but she took an apple to eat instead...
But seriously...
The essence of sin, in the Christian understanding, is to be self-centred rather than God-centred. And if you reflect for a moment, the most self-centred creature on this earth is a new-born baby. It is only ever concerned with its own needs - I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, I'm tired, I'm wet, I'm dirty, I'm tired but I'm not going to go to sleep, I WANT YOUR ATTENTION AND I WANT IT NOW! - and it yells until it gets what it wants.
I think that's a very human picture of what is meant by Original Sin - something that is there from the very beginning of life.
Only as time passes does a baby learn to trust that there are grown-ups out there who are full of love and who don't actually need prompting to see to a baby's needs....and that's a very human picture of how we need in time to learn how God loves us.

Urrm..toughie...i guess it's like i take a lot of the Bible to be, more symbolic then actualyl word-for-word truth...Eve "sinning" with that apple just represents the way every single being sins...every day. it wasn't like all her fault or anything, it was just saying that, right from the starting line, we've all sinned.
I think that's quite a nice message out of the good ole Bible anyway, I mean "hey, you can all do things wrong, people have for ages". then i suppose the repentance thing is what makes it all alright with God.
but i wouldnt blame it all on Eve, i think its more symbolic than anything

Opposition came into the world when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God. By their own choice they began to learn that when you disobey God, suffering occurs. This was actually part of God's plan for the growth and development of His children.
Earth life was designed for exactly this purpose -- to help us understand the difference between right and wrong. It's one thing to tell someone over and over that lying is wrong, but they will begin to understand as they see what happens when a relationship is damaged through dishonesty.
Contrary to many people's understanding, Adam and Eve were very faithful people. What they did, they did for us.

NO one is born in sin, there are only morals to follow. you become a bad person you are not born one. If there hadn't been a WWI then most likely there wouldn't have been a Hitler.
Do you really believe in Adam an eve, grow up it never happened, it is just a story.
The forbidden fruit, it is a metaphor.

No, disobedience to God is why Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden. The eating of the fruit was just the test. Thanks for asking, have a Blessed day.

Yes, because adam and eve disobeyed God, sin is now in us from birth. We are born sinful and imperfect. We are no longer the perfect creatures God created and intended us to be.
God bless

No and let me explain why. Eve was seduced, Adam chose to follow her into sin because he did not have enough faith in GOD. how do I know this? why was JESUS boen of a human mother but conceived by the HOLY SPIRIT? because the sin is carried by the male. JESUS was born without sin right? but HE could choose the same as we can, right? so HE was tempted in all points as we are but did not sin.
