At least he would win races again

I will tell you what the big deal is.... Nascar seems to be split right down the middle Jr v. Gordon. If Jr were to take a contract with Hendrick, Gordon and Jr would be on the same team. This would kill Jr nation! While some say that Hendrick does not have any room, they can easily take a drivers contract away. In my vote it would be Kyle Busch, what has he really done for you? Some say he just needs more experience, but it seems every other race he is slamming the car in the wall. I say Kyle has had his time at Hendrick and is just an average driver. If you put JR in that car I think that team goes sky high. As much as I dislike Jr, it would be sweet if he came to hendrick.

Much like the Jr v. Gordon fans, many fans just hate Hendrick period... This creates denial because nobody wants to consider that there is a chance he could go there.... If Rick Hendrick does not take a look at this issue he is an idiot, and we all know he is far from an idiot. Sure he says "there is no room for him" but if you honestly believe that he has not seriously looked at this issue, you are not being real.

I am well aware that Hendrick has 4 cars... They can always boot someone out to make room for JR. Like I said if they are not considering this, they are insane! It might hurt them in the short run but getting Jr with them would create a dynasty.
I say kick out Kyle Busch, what is he giving you that JR cant??? And too add to that, lots of people dont like Kyle because his bother is a jerk!!!

The 4 hendrick cars are not set in stone for the rest of their life, like most of you seem to think...

Not a Bubble - You are looking out of cloudy eyes man! I hate Jr as much as any Gordon fan, but he could do much better than Kyle in that car... Hendrick has far better stuff than DEI...

There is no guarentee that he would win races, but he would have a better opportunity. Here's the problem with Jr. going to Hendrick. He would have to release one of his four drivers and probably demote a crew chief. Who would Hendrick release?
Gordon-No, because he is winning races and is a contender
Johnson-No, because he is winning races and is the defending cup champion
Busch- Maybe, but this kid has such a good long term outlook even though he is immature
Mears- Seems like the best option, but he just won so keep him in the car to see if it was a fluke

Yes, Jr. probably would win races at Hendrick. However, I don't think Jr. would fit in that well at Hendrick as he would at Gibbs, Ginn, or Childress.

NASCAR will only permit car owners to field four teams beginning in 2009, so Hendrick first had to find a spot on his roster to add Earnhardt. Busch asking out of his deal would create an opening, but it's no guarantee Earnhardt will end up in the No. 5.

There would be no guarantee that Jr would win if he went to Hendricks or if he drove the #3 car. Why do most of you think that just because he goes to another team, you think he will win. He hasn't proved he can win with the #8 Budweiser car.

He's not going to Hendrick and birdy is a special fella. Jr is not even in the same league as Kyle Busch as far as talent goes, Hell for that matter, They may be losing something if they boot Mears for him. What has he done in a car? NOTHING NOTHING my god, his dad was a good driver, that is the extent of his accomplishments in Nasacar, but then half of today's Nascar's fans don't know a damn thing about the sport, just who sell the most stuff. Gibbs or Ginn, he won't go to RCR Richard already said so.RCR is building an engine shop with DEI so don't look for that.

Yep. Dale Earnhardt Jr finally got some sense. Earnhardt at Hendrick = Marketing Monopoly. Just look at what we have here... 3 of the top merchandise selling drivers at one organization... Gordon, Johnson, ....and Earnhardt. woah. I've never been a fan of Jr. because he is overrated in my opinion. But, I guess I could give him a chance if he goes over to my boys' place... Hendrick. I see a bright future ahead of him. And to all of you Gordon and Johnson Haters/ Jr. Lovers.... HAHAHAHAHA!

He's not going to Hendrick, he's going to drive for Ginn next year. If you consider the fact that Ginn uses engines from Hendrick, that is the only way you can say he's going to Hendrick (riding behind one of their motors).

- Cant go to Hendrick because NASCAR only allows 4 cars/team (Roush was grandfathered in)
- Jr might want to be his own person not continue to follow in Sr footsteps (maybe no RCR)
- Gibbs doesnt want Bud as a sponsor (might go with Visa or take Yelles ride)
- Ginn has the money and is building a good team (maybe take Martins ride)

My guess is that he goes to an existing car and takes someone elses ride so he will be in the top 35 in points.

It's a no brainer. Hendrick himself said there is no room at the inn for him or anyone else.

My money is on RCR picking him up. It's only logical...his dad was successful there, and that is where he and Childress both became big names in NASCAR and I think he will honor that loyalty.
