is it cheap to buy prescription glasses in phuket in thailand?

i would prefer presciption varifocals in sun glasses

Yes it's very cheap to buy glasses there. You can get a pair for about 20 dollars. They can get more expensive but it all depends on what sort you want. Whichever you decide to buy, along with everything else, they will definitely be cheaper in thailand. Try the following site:

I think everything in Thailand is much cheaper from any other countries. It is a good idea to do so if you have chance to come here.
