Apparently, I'm a bit more optimistic about "this horrible life" than you are. I'm rather enjoying my stay here. Yes, there are bad things that happen, and if that's all you're looking for in life, that's exactly what you'll see. Personally, I also see very good and positive things happening, as well as the negative. I love God, my life, and mankind. The talk about ending your life is disturbing. As the child of a parent who committed suicide, I will never choose that option, because I know firsthand what it does to those left behind. As for wanting to die, I'll die when the time comes. I see no need to rush it.

Ofcourse I want to Go Home Now.
This world seems like a very aweful place most of the time.
Depression, thoughts of "escaping", trying to find some...well, like some other thing, besides God...to believe in.
Like Numerology, Wicca, ...you know all that stuff that seems fun, maybe from a distance.
But that which ultimately, can not save you from hell.
Life has been a daily struggle, for sooo many people.
Myself included.
Though I have never lost all my belongings, really.. atleast not to Fire, flood, etc.
Yes, it would come as a great shock, to lose all my Material Possessions.
However, as a Christian, I am not supposed to worry about any of those things.
As a Christian, my main Concern, and Focus, I mean...besides, looking out for those, or taking care of those, who have less...or None at all. Is to put my Faith, and My Focus, on God.
And My Saviour, Jesus Christ.
As Christians, even thoufgh we are saved, we often tend to get wrapped up in this Physical world, and all the "fun" stuff there is to do in it.
So that may just add to our depression, and worry.
Sure, I have often wished for the "button" to be pushed.
I live right next to McChord AirForce Base.
I would be Vaporized in a Nano-Second!
Glory, Hallelujah!!! they finally Nuked us...Home at last.
anyway.
e-mail me if you want to further discuss this, as I am not gonna write any more here.
But it sounds like you are just in a slump.
me too.
But it is up and down for me.
Thats why Ilost my last Acct.
I was down, and answered very ...well, Badly.

George Carlin had a whole shtick about this when I saw him live.
He thought it would be great if we had a suicide channel on cable... and we could recruit the old & in pain, the hopelessly depressed & especially the christians wanting to get to heaven so bad they cant wait.
Some of the people sitting next to me scoffed & left the theater (this was after his auto-erotic-asphyxiation bit) and I was cackling with laughter.
He has a mastery of the human language which tickles my morbid funny bone.
Suicide is a sin... blah blah blah. What's the point in being alive if you dont enjoy it. Isn't that the whole reason for death & suffering... to have something to compare life & joy to.
You cant have light without the dark.

Then go to Work, Pay bills and HELP OTHERS (witnessing, praying for etc.).
Yes I want to go to Planet Heaven!!!
But, I want to finish the Job Jesus called me to do.
After I finish the Job, then I can Leave and have no Regrets!
Want to make Sure ALL FAMILY is in the Lord too!!!
Yes, I get tired.
Yes, I get tired of seeing destruction.
Yes, I get tired of the threats and the terrorist.
Yes!!!
But, We are the Ones with the Answers.
We are the Children of GOD.
We are the Ones who can Pray and Help.
Untill GOD takes us out, WE are the Army of GOD.
You can go Home if you want to, but think of all the Good you could'a done, and the minute you step over you will be Thinking, I wish I'd a stayed and Finished what Jesus wanted me to do.
It's hell down here, we are in this place BUT not of it.

I know what you mean. But you need to remember that nothing happens without God allowing it ( not that God does it) for a greater reason - and who are we to question that? Even as far back as that Bible times it sometimes took a few lifetimes for God's plan to come full circle. We just need to have faith that He knows what He's doing. And you need to also think that the victims of these horrific events - if they're Christians - have been taken to heaven already. Shouldn't we celebrate those aspects of it?

IT...... sounds to me.... THAT..... YOU..... Want to be..... A QUITTER!
Your Quote: I would probablly end my life. Christians how do you feel about this horrible life.
YOU...... Missed something.... BY... NOT KNOING THE WORD?
(Romans 8:28) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
AND......
(Job 2:9-10) And his wife said to him, Do you still hold to your integrity? Curse God and die!
(Job 2:10) But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish ones speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
AND.....
(Habbakkuk 3:16-to-19) I heard and my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself that I might rest in the day of trouble; to come up against the people; he cuts him off.
(Hab 3:17) Though the fig tree shall not blossom, and fruit is not on the vines; the labor of the olive fails, and the fields yield no food. The flock is cut off from the fold, and no herd is in the stalls;
(Hab 3:18) yet I will rejoice in Jehovah, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
(Hab 3:19) Jehovah the Lord is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk on my high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
AND......
Perhaps YOU...... NEED TO BE BORN AGAIN?
See John 3:3 & Romans 10:9-10 & John 7:38-39 & Ephsians 1:13.....!
YOUR FEAR...... IS .... UNFOUNDED...... for those that..... Really....KNOW.....JESUS!
Thanks, RR

How insane!!! You know what ? If I lost my home, I would cope. I would cope because I have people who I love and who love me on Earth and I want to have all the quality time possible with them. I am strong enough to not fear death but I want to live and enjoy everything as long as possible. Everyday I find another reason that I am happy to be Atheist

Only when God decides to call me home, and not before. This life is a blessing and a gift from God and should be lived as such. I thank God for every day He gives me upon this earth.

No, because death is the END of life. When you die, you cease to exist, there is no "going home".
