This is hardly news.

I'm sure I've heard that his other generals have briefed him on the hopeless nature of the occupation of Iraq with the resources available.

Nothing is going to stop Bush's plans short of immediate removal from the White House in chains.

I think Bush should listen to this Democratic hogwash and bring the troops home today. That way we can fight them right here in our front and back yards next week, so they can kill more Americans. Our kids and civilians can't protect themselves that way.. This is NOT like Viet Nam where we walk away, embarrassed, and nothing else happen. They have sworn to kill ALL Americans. I don't understand why folks cannot see this as the danger that it really is. Do we think 9/11 was a fluke? NO, it was planned carefully and executed with some small mistakes. If we pull out of there now, there are much worse and much bigger things to come. THINK about this with an open mind and be realistic about it.

And when all the troops come home, it will be totally out of control....more than anyone can imagine. Then you all can complain and place responsibility on Bush, and how he brought all the troops home and all the terrorists act that followed.
Get over it people we are in this for the long haul. Everyone knows it, but no one will admit it.

"Stay the Course" of course, although they officially can't say that anymore.

In the interest of full disclosure, the above was stated with SARCASM, pointing out the utter insanity of refusing to alter one's course when that course has obviously failed and the incredible cynicism of thinking that simply not calling it that anymore is fooling anyone.

stay the course, is a very patriotic phrase used a long time ago in another patriotic era. and very true.
